Food at The Daffodil
Our menus change seasonally, but some favourites are always available. Locally caught fresh fish are always popular; such as locally coracle-caught Sewin (Sea Trout). Also our ever-popular Créme Brûlée, & Sticky Toffee Pudding are long-term favourites. The Daffodil’s Restaurant Menus provide some outstanding two-course options at lunchtimes (Monday to Saturday), and on Sunday to Wednesday evenings. Bar Meals are also available at Lunch times Monday to Saturday. Sunday Lunch is always busy at The Daffodil, when the menu includes traditional roasts with vegetarian and fish alternatives. For our younger guests, aged 12 and under, we have our Young Diners' Menu (except Sunday lunchtimes, when chidlren's roast dinners are available).
A daily ‘Specials’ board supplements the main menu (except Sunday Lunchtime) usually offering dishes incorporating locally caught fresh fish.
Our Wine List has been developed in collaboration with Alastair Davies a Director of Celtic Wines, Pembroke Dock, providing a range of wines to complement our wide ranging menus. Champagne & Prosseco are firm favorites for celebrations, and for a special treat with Afternoon Tea.
We have a range of excellent Welsh Bottled Beers & Cider as well as Abbot Ale and Hancocks HB as our staple Real Ales. Occassionally we also offer a local guest Real Ale. Draft Carling and Peroni lagers are offered, as are Worthington’s Creamflow and Guinness with a range of Welsh Bottled bottled beers, ciders and soft drinks.
